Reservation or Discrimination?

India is believed to move on the road of development but I don’t think so. Reservation in the society has tempered the youth’s will to study and aim.

Reservation on the basis of caste is meaningless but it accounts for a considerable vote bank. People who really suffer are rarely asked for any reservation instead they are humiliated in different phases of life.

We are already short of good institutes and on top of it our government imposes reservation. This amounts for discontent among those who are deserving but not in the reserved category.

Reservation was aimed to uplift that section of society which had been suffering before independence. It was meant for a short period of time but year after year these categories became a major vote bank,so none of the government tried to annul the orders. In the present scenario I dont think that hardwork of students is paying of.

The hard work of studies is paying but not in India. That is why people living in India are going abroad in the search of work.

This applies equally well to feminist women like you who want reservations in this era of equality to women in all spheres of life.
